UKRAINE ANTI-OFFSHORE has been a landmark international top level conference of the year 2018. It was organized by Crowe LF Ukraine and its partners throughout Crowe – Global Corporate Advisors network together with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce on 18 June 2018. More than 100 participants from all major sectors of the Ukrainian economy and top Ukrainian companies participated in the event.
The conference was supported by Estonian and other member firms of Crowe network and confirmed strength and efficiency of cooperation between Crowe member firms Dmitriy Mikhailenko, managing partner of Crowe LF Ukraine, as well Leonid Agejev, managing partner of Larssen, member Crowe Global and Roustam Vakhitov, associated partner of Crowe LF Ukraine summarized their recommendations to Ukrainian and international business as follows:
– To use time before the introduction of new measures wisely and prepare to the changes;
– Increase substance (assets, resources, personnel, bank accounts, etc.) in those countries where holding, financing and trading companies are located.
– Be prepared to automatic exchange of of information with foreign banks. It may start much sooner than expected.
